Board Members Serve on National Committees
NMBEA Members Volunteer Nationally
New Mexico is well represented nationally in the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Currently, three Board members sit on national committees. Two members, Roger Lujan, and Bob Calvani served on committees involved with the development of the national Architectural Registration Examination.
Jim Oschwald served on the Broadly Experienced Architect/Broadly Experienced Foreign Architect committee, which processes applications for that type of certification.
Having several Board members on national committees is unusual for a state the size of New Mexico. It is indicative of the willingness to volunteer and the contribution the NMBEA Board members make on behalf of our state.
